Former itraffic Directors and M&C Saatchi launch Play

The former itraffic Directors Jon Sharpe, Ethan Segal and Matt Gorzkowski have today launched Play, a new interactive marketing agency, in partnership with M&C Saatchi. Play is 50% owned by Sharpe, Segal and Gorzkowski and 50% owned by M&C Saatchi.
Sharpe, Segal and Gorzkowski, formerly Managing Director, Sales & Marketing Director and Client Services Director of itraffic respectively, are a vastly experienced team who were central to the interactive marketing successes of brands such as British Airways, Wanadoo, NSPCC and Cahoot whilst leading itraffic.
Play will combine Strategic Planning, Creative and Media Planning & Buying to provide its clients with interactive marketing solutions across multiple digital channels, including the Internet, Mobile, TV and Outdoor.
The agency has already won its first two clients, a major FMCG brand and a leading publisher.
Jon Sharpe, Managing Director of Play, commented, “People are fundamentally interactive creatures and virtually every medium is now interactively enabled so to us it didn’t make sense to launch anything but an interactive marketing agency. However, when people think of interactive marketing they still typically think of online advertising.
